Name:4th Brazilian Technology Symposium - BTSym2018
Description:The BTSym'18 organizing committee invites researchers to attend and submit papers addressing the current research topics of interest. In 2018, the event after three days in duration, on October 23th, 24th and 25th, at the Mackenzie University, Campinas-SP. Proceedings of the event will be published by the Springer Nature publisher through the book Proceedings of the 4th Brazilian Technology Symposium - Emerging Trends and Challenges in Technology, and will be submitted for indexing by Scopus, WoS and EI Compendex database. This event seeks to bring together researchers, students and professionals from the industrial and academic sectors, seeking to create and/or strengthen the linkages between issues of joint interest. Participants are invited to submit research papers, case studies, articles of opinion or posters, showing studies, methodologies and results achieved in scientific level research projects, completion of course work for graduation, dissertations and theses. The areas of knowledge covered by the event are Smart Designs, Sustainability, Inclusion, Future Technologies, IoT, Architecture and Urbanism, Computer Science, Information Science, Industrial Design, Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Civil Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval and Oceanic Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Probability and Statistics, Life Assistive, Electronic Government, Difuse and Diverse Projects and Miscellaneous. Authors are invited to submit a paper in research article, review article, case study, opinion article, poster, or short commentaries form, that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works, and industrial experiences describing significant advances. http://lcv.fee.unicamp.br/brazilian-technology-symposium/btsym-18 For papers submitted to BTSym’18, we offer publishing as follows: Option A - Publication in Conference Proceedings of Springer Nature: After peer reviewed by at least 2-3 experts, all the accepted papers will be published into International Proceedings published by Springer Nature, in the form of a book, which it will be submitted for indexing by Scopus, WoS and EI Compendex database. This process of publishing is limited to 60 papers (8 pages per paper, including all figures, tables, and references). Extra pages may be charged at R$:100,00 per page. Option B - Publication in Conference Proceedings of BTSym’18: After peer reviewed by at least 2-3 experts, all the accepted papers will be published into national Proceedings published by LCV (Laboratory of Visual Communication). This process of publishing does not have submission amount limitation. Paper submission should be between 3 to 6 pages. Paper extending 1 or 2 pages at most will also be considered. Option C - Poster Section: For those who're NOT looking to publish their papers, it's acceptable to submit your POSTER to the conference, which will be sent to at least two technical committees for a brief review, and will be published into national Proceedings published by LCV (Laboratory of Visual Communication). This process of publishing does not have submission amount limitation. Rules: Articles should be preferably submitted in English to the Conference Proceedings of Springer; Articles should be preferably submitted in English to the Conference Proceedings of BTSym’18 (papers in Portuguese and Spanish will also be considered, only in this option).
