| Description: | 21st century saw remarkable progress in science and technology and also it started to witness the fury of climate change. While improving urban quality of life is one of the major challenges under growing stress and adversities; technologies, pro-environmental behaviour and inclusivity might be way forward. Several policy initiatives have been undertaken by global agencies, governments to mitigate local and global challenges. Under these circumstances, the 1st International Conference on Urban Science and Engineering might provide the milieu of urban planning while applying technology that would ensure better urban life, while considering the sensitiveness of depleting natural resources and earmarking way forward towards sustainable development. The conference provides an excellent platform to know, exchange new ideas, and understand the challenges related to the urban sector at large. We are certain that ICUSE 2020 would be exciting and would continue the tradition of immense scientific discussion. |
