The University of Informatics Science (UCI) and the Cuban Association of Pattern Recognition (ACRP) invite researchers in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition to participate in the 24th Iberoamerican Congress on Pattern Recognition (CIARP 2019), to be held in Havana, Cuba, from October 28th to 31st, 2019. TOPICS OF INTERESTS: ==================== CIARP_2019 invites to prospective authors to contribute to the Congress by electronically submitting unpublished full papers in one of the next topics (but are not limited to): Applications of Pattern Recognition Artificial Intelligence Techniques in PR Bioinformatics Clustering Cognitive Humanoid and Computer Vision Data and Text Mining Data Visualization and Applications of PR Deep and Reinforced Learning DB, Knowledge Bases and Linguistic Tools Discrete Geometry Document Processing and Recognition Fuzzy and Hybrid Techniques in PR Geometric Algebra Application in PR Image Coding, Processing and Analysis Image, Video, and Knowledge Bases Intelligent Data Analysis Kernel Machines Logical Combinatorial PR Mathematical Morphology Mathematical Theory of PR Medical Imaging Natural Language Processing Neural Networks for PR Opinion Mining and Sentiment Analysis Parallel and Distributed PR Pattern Recognition Principles Robotics & Humanoids Remote Sensing Applications of PR Shape and Texture Analysis Signal Processing and Analysis Spatio-Temporal Analysis Special Hardware Architectures Statistical Pattern Recognition Syntactical and Structural PR Video analysis Voice and Speech Recognition PAPERS STYLE GUIDELINES AND REVIEW PROCESS ============================================ We accepted full papers contributions in English of no more than 10 pages, including illustrations, results, tables and references, and must be presented at the workshop in English. The papers have been write using Microsoft Office Word, Open\Libre Office Writer or Latex, and have to be formatted following LNCS style guidelines: • LNCS style guidelines: Papers will be evaluated based on their originality, technical content, quality and relevance of theoretical and/or practical contribution to Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least three members of the Program Committee. The final acceptance will be based upon double-blind peer review of the full-length paper and will be unappealable. The accepted papers will be included in the proceedings of the CIARP_2019, which will be published by Springer in Lecture Notes in Computer Science: • LNCS: Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors of each paper to register and to present the communication at the Congress, if it is accepted. For papers to be included in the final program, at least one author per paper must register at the standard registration fee by the 'camera-ready paper' submission deadline. The Congress will have only one track.
